Southeast Severe Threat Continues
The threat for severe weather continues today for parts of the Southeast. There is an Enhanced Risk in place for parts of Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina. This includes the Atlanta metro area and Columbus, GA, Birmingham and Montgomery, AL, and Knoxville, TN.
Any storms that develop will be capable of producing widespread damaging wind gusts, large hail, and tornadoes. The greatest threat for tornadoes is in central and southern Georgia.
