Severe Weather Possible Sunday

Severe weather is looking increasingly likely across parts of the South on Sunday. Some of these same areas are still cleaning up after devastating storms rolled through Easter Sunday.

The risk area stretches from Louisiana into western Georgia and includes Alexandria, LA, Jackson, MS, Montgomery and Dothan, AL and Columbus, GA.

Models have been consistent in showing an MCS moving across the area with widespread damaging winds likely.
