Cinco de Mayo Enhanced Risk

There is an Enhanced Risk today for severe weather in parts of the south. This includes Shreveport, LA and Waco, Killeen, Tyler, and Longview, TX.

Scattered severe storms are likely this afternoon and into this evening. Damaging wind gusts will be the primary threat, but large hail and isolated tornadoes are possible. The great tornado threat stretches from just east of Waco northeastward towards the greater Little Rock, AR area.
