Southern Severe Threat

There is an Enhanced Risk of severe weather today for parts of the south central U.S. including Oklahoma City, Norman, Lawton, and Edmond, OK and Wichita Falls, TX.

Widespread severe thunderstorm activity is expected across this area. Strong tornadoes and very large hail are the primary threats. The greatest tornado risk is from the central Texas panhandle into much of central and southern Oklahoma.
