Busy Severe Week Kicks Off Today

A busy week of severe weather kicks off today with an Enhanced Risk for parts of far eastern Oklahoma and Arkansas. This includes Fort Smith, Jonesboro, Conway, Hot Springs, and Jacksonville, AR.

Large to very large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes are all possible. The highest threat for tornadoes is in the Enhanced Risk area.

The severe threat continues tomorrow with an Enhanced Risk stretching from Texas to the Iowa/Minnesota border. The threat then moves eastward on Wednesday expanding from central Louisiana to the Chicagoland area.
