Moderate Severe Risk in Wisconsin

A severe weather outbreak is likely today in parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin. A Moderate Risk includes Milwaukee, Kenosha, Racine, Appleton, Waukesha, Eau Claire, Tomah, and Rice Lake, WI.

Storms will initiate this afternoon in northern Minnesota and quickly develop into supercells. These storms will be capable of producing significant/destructive hail, severe wind (locally exceeding hurricane force), and isolated tornadoes.
