Southern Plains Severe Risk

Severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon for parts of the Southern Plains. A Slight Risk is in place for much of Oklahoma and parts of the eastern Texas panhandle.

The primary threats with any severe weather today will be large hail and damaging wind gusts. However, a few tornadoes are possible, especially in northwestern Oklahoma, including the Woodward area.
