The NHC says, “Historic and catastrophic flooding is unfolding along and juts inland of the coast from west of Tallahassee, FL to Mobile Bay, AL.” In addition to widespread flash flooding, dangerous storm surge is occurring along the Gulf Coast.
Hurricane conditions are expected to continue into this afternoon for the hurricane warning area from the Mississippi/Alabama border to the Okaloosa/Walton county line in Florida.
