Mid-Atlantic Severe Threat

Severe weather is likely today for parts of the Mid-Atlantic. An Enhanced Risk area includes Baltimore and Columbia, MD, Washington, D.C., and Arlington, VA.

Damaging wind gusts will be the primary threat with any storms that develop in this region. There is also a risk for a few tornadoes. The highest risk area for tornadoes does include D.C. and Baltimore.
