Great Lakes Severe Risk

There is an Enhanced risk of severe weather today stretching from northeastern Iowa into central Michigan. This includes Milwaukee and Madison in Wisconsin, Grand Rapids, MI, Cedar Rapids, IA and Rockford, IL.

The main concern with today’s storms will be the potential for damaging wind gusts. Isolated large hail will also be possible.

Flashing flooding is also a concern in parts of eastern Iowa and southern Wisconsin. Many locations in these areas have received multiple inches of rain in the last few days.
