California Wine Country Wildfires
Major wildfires continue to burn in parts of the California Win Country today with hundreds of people fleeing to safety. There are two major fires: the Atlas Peak fire near Napa and the Tubbs fire near Santa Rosa. The fires are 10,000 and 20,000 acres, respectively.

Dozens of homes and businesses have been lost as these fires continue to burn. Unfortunately, weather conditions will not be conducive to fighting fires. Red Flag Warnings are in effect throughout northern California with gusty winds expected through this afternoon.
