Active Pattern Sets Up
Mid March will bring a much more active pattern in the way of severe weather to parts of the southern United States.
There is a Slight Risk today for parts of Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. This includes Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Plano and Garland, TX.
There is a threat for a few tornadoes especially in the lower Mississippi River Valley and a secondary area around the OKC metro and points south.
The active weather will continue Friday and Saturday with the Slight Risk moving eastward each day.
There will be a bit of a lull in activity on Sunday but, by Monday, the severe threat ramps up again for many of the same areas.
