Plains Severe Threat

Severe weather is likely today for parts of the Central and Southern Plains.

There is an Enhanced Risk for parts of Texas and Oklahoma. This includes Wichita Falls and Sweetwater, TX and Lawton, Altus and Chickasha, OK.

All modes of severe weather will be possible, including tornadoes. The SPC warns that, “severe to occasionally very large hail” will be a significant risk.
