Southern Severe Threat

The SPC has outlined an Enhanced risk area for severe weather today across parts of south Texas. This includes San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Victoria, and New Braunfels, TX.

The main threats severe storms will pose in these areas today will be large hail and damaging wind gusts.

Thursday, June 6 Severe Weather Outlook

Farther east, in parts of south central Mississippi, the SPC has a slight risk of severe weather. It is in this area that today’s highest potential for tornadoes exists.

This includes Jackson, Hattiesburg, Meridian, Clinton, and Pearl, MS.
